Since our first Fair in 1922, we’ve remained true to our mandate and mission: to be Canada’s leader in showcasing Canadian agriculture, food and equine excellence. Today, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is the largest indoor equestrian and agricultural fair in the world and North America’s #1 indoor horse show. With over one million square feet of display and competition facilities, The Royal draws in over 300,000 visits annually and delivers approximately $40 million in economic benefit to the City of Toronto and Province of Ontario. The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair takes place every November in the City of Toronto. It’s where Canadian and international breeders, growers and exhibitors are declared Royal Champions and where hundreds of thousands of attendees come to learn, compete, shop and have a great time with friends and family. We welcome approximately 20,000 students each year who are entertained and engaged by interactive educational exhibits and who get to experience firsthand the diverse aspects of Canada’s agri-food sector. The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair began on November 22, 1922 with an astonishing 17,000 agricultural entries and over 150,000 visitors.
