Founded in 1980, RE/MAX professionals' ownership has roots in Etobicoke going back over 40 years. In the 1970's, Polzler Real Estate - The Action People, was a well-respected real estate brokerage with multiple branch offices in the West End, owned and operated by Frank Polzler. A true visionary, Polzler, with partner, Walter Schneider, recognised the industry needed a paradigm shift and in 1980, bought the rights to RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada, converting his offices to RE/MAX Professionals Inc., under the leadership of his daughter, Pamela Alexander. The growth of Re/Max in market share and agent count is unprecedented and reaches around the globe. Fast forward to 2012 and the brokerage welcomes the third generation to its leadership team. Daughter, Leah Ambler, a successful realtor in the GTA, will add another dimension and influence to the vision of RE/MAX Professionals, as it continues to build from this solid foundation. Leah, now a non-selling owner has taken her vision for the Etobicoke-Bloor West real estate market and added a foundation of business development and increased sales with her sales force team.
