Handling more than 13.4 million TEU, 2.5 million vehicles, 10.1 million tons of general cargo and 1.7 million cruise ship passengers in 2015, Ports America’s services include container, bulk, breakbulk, military and project cargo; world-class cruise terminals; intermodal facilities; maintenance and repair; and quality RoRo operations. Headquartered in Jersey City, NJ, Ports America is comprised of 4 major business units: West Coast Containers (WCC) primarily consists of joint ventures located in Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Tacoma. Ports America Stevedoring (PAS) handles the majority of Ports America’s breakulk, military, bulk, auto/RoRo, cruise, maintenance and repair, and project cargo. PAS sites stretch across the west, gulf and east coasts. East Coast Operations (ECO) is comprised of Ports America Chesapeake in Baltimore, MD, Port Newark Container Terminal (PNCT) in Port Newark, NJ, operations in Savannah, GA and military operations in North Carolina. Ports America Shared Services (PASS) located in Chandler, AZ with over 200 employees, hosts all of the company’s support functions including, but not limited to, Human Resources, Information Technology, Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable and Risk Management.
