Oman Aviation Services is a group of companies providing services to airlines, the cargo community and passengers at airports across the Sultanate of Oman. Forming a part of Oman Aviation Group, Oman Aviation Services has five companies each specializing in a core activity to support the aviation sector: Ground Handling provides airport customer services and below wing handling for airline customers, Cargo Handling operates the cargo terminal at Muscat International Airport providing import and export activities to the cargo community, Catering provides inflight catering and logistics to airline customers, as well as catering to non-aviation corporate customers, Duty Free operates the Duty Free retail shops in Muscat as well as onboard Oman Air aircraft and a Hotel Operation, under the Golden Tulip brand, provides Hotel accommodation and event management services close to the airport.Headquartered in Oman the company, although incorporated in 2017, was established through the consolidation of a number of entities each of whom have a long history of providing services within their specialized area. Oman Aviation Services employs over 3000 staff in nine locations.
