NilsonGroup was established in 1955, when the company’s founder Rolf Nilsson started a one-man firm in the town of Åskloster near Varberg, Sweden. The company made its first buying trip to Italy in 1959. Today, 60 years on, NilsonGroup is Scandinavia’s leading shoe group encompassing the store concepts DinSko, Nilson Shoes, Skopunkten, Jerns and Radical Sports as well as the Ecco Stores franchise chain. With approx. 200 shops in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, NilsonGroup had sales of SEK 2,5 billion in 2019. With an unbeatable combination of brands in constant development, the group continues its expansion with the guiding principle “we put feet first”. The group’s head office is located in Varberg, and the concepts are all administered from here. In addition, the group has buying and product development office in China.
