Nexus Health Group

Nexus Health Group is a relatively new organisation but with a long history of providing good quality primary care in Southwark. We are a super GP partnership which was formed in August 2016 when four long standing local GP practices merged. Nexus serves a population of 70,000+ patients over 9 sites which are all based in Southwark. We merged as we thought that there are benefits of working together in a larger GP partnership. This is in line with national policy in the NHS to encourage practices to ‘work at scale’ with other local practices with the aim to provide improved and more consistent patient care. With the appointment of our new Chief Officer, Daniela Valdes, we look to realise a number of ambitions for the development of Nexus over the next few years, by thinking of new ways we can continue to deliver high quality services to our patients. We know that our team is vital for us to achieve this goal. Nexus values the talents and abilities of our employees, and strives to provide an employee-friendly working environment.
