Nan Tien Institute - NTI

Nan Tien Institute (NTI) is located in Unanderra, a suburb south of Wollongong on the New South Wales coast and directly opposite Nan Tien Temple, the largest temple in the Southern Hemisphere and one of over two hundred monasteries of the Fo Guang Buddhist Order, founded by Grand Master Ven. Hsing-Yun in 1995. Education is one of the prime objectives of the order and Fo Guang Shan has already established Universtiy of the West in Los Angeles, California and Fo Guang University and Nan Hua University in Taiwan. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of Buddhist philosophy and its potential in the 21st century, NTI is offering postgraduate courses in Applied Buddhist Studies to local and international students.
