Musgrave Operating Partners Ireland

Musgrave Operating Partners Ireland (MOPI) is a division of Musgrave Group, with 22 Supervalu Stores across Ireland. MOPI was formally known as Superquinn and has a rich heritage of Fresh Food and quality customer service. Feargal Quinn opened his first shop in 1960, which has grown today to a network of 24 stores employing 2,500 people. Superquinn became part of the Musgrave Group in October 2011. Musgrave changed the name of its Superquinn stores to SuperValu in February 2014. All stores will continue to be owned and operated by Musgrave Operating Partners Ireland. The decision creates an unrivalled national Irish retail brand, enabling more shoppers to access SuperValu’s offer, while incorporating the best of Superquinn.
