McDonald’s is one of the leading foodservice retailers in the UK, serving over 3 million customers a day from more than 1,200 restaurants. Over 67% of our restaurants are owned and operated by independent businessmen and women. Together with our franchisees we employ over 100,000 people. In November 2014 we celebrated 40 years of trading in the UK. To mark this milestone we measured the contribution we make to our customers, people, suppliers, local communities and the UK economy.
