Manor Green School

Manor Green School is a day special school located in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. It caters for over 200 students age 2–19 with a wide range of special educational needs. The school was previously known as Holyport Manor School but was rebranded and relaunched as Manor Green School in the summer of 2010; Ms Joolz Scarlett will be the Headteacher from September 2016. The school is highly successful, heavily oversubscribed and it continuously reviews its curriculum offer to respond to the changing needs of its growing student population. In addition, it offers specialist outreach services to local mainstream schools, where SEN expertise may be more limited. Manor Green School educates students from toddlers to adults, who, due to their complex needs, require significant specialist support to succeed academically and achieve their full potential. The school’s work is underpinned by a unique Philosophy of Education - The ACE Model; combining the focus on the academic progress (A); care and therapeutic learning support (C), as well as promotion of life skills and enrichment (E) essential for a fulfilling adulthood.
