Madacy Entertainment, in conjunction with its wholly-owned licensing subsidiary Countdown Media, owns and controls one of the largest archives of master recordings of any independent music label worldwide. Over the past 30 years, combining a series of catalogue acquisitions with its own ongoing recording schedule, an extraordinarily diverse catalog of more than 140,000 tracks has been amassed, covering virtually all musical genres. The repertoire of Madacy’s music library range from some of the earliest recordings of heritage artists such as Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton and rarities from legends such as Otis Redding. In addition, the library includes a vast array of re-recordings, instrumental gems comprising the 101 Strings Orchestra catalogue, historical and audiophile classical performances, and the most comprehensive, high-quality catalogue of cover recordings in existence, spanning the entire past century of recorded music. Supplementing Madacy’s music catalogues, Madacy engages studios in the U.S.A. and Europe on an ongoing basis, continuing to enrich its vast collection of cover recordings with 20 to 30 new re-creations each month of the most popular hits from around the world. With offices in both North America and Europe and longstanding relationships throughout the world, Madacy is well positioned to continue to develop licensing relationships with licensees throughout the global marketplace.
