Lycée Condorcet Sydney - International French School

Founded in 1969, the Lycée Condorcet of Sydney, born from the will of the local French community, quickly became an important part of the lives of the expatriates but also the French with a project to stay in Australia or who have decided to make it their country of adoption. The school, a private institution managed by a Board of Trustees, is recognized by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), as well as The Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards NSW (BOSTES). Our current 870 students ranging from 3 to 18 years, and from 27 different nationalities, follow an educational project based on bilingualism, excellence and respect for our host country and multiculturalism. The mission of the French School is to provide each of our students to develop the space to develop their personal and academic potentias,so they can become bilingual citizens of the world, independent, responsible and respectful of others and their environment, in a French multicultural setting within Australia. Its specificity is to offer two curriculums: The French curriculum, from Preschool 1 to Year 12, subsidized by the AEFE, follows the programs of the French National Education Ministry and leads to the National Diploma Certificate and the Baccalaureate. The IB curriculum, from Year 11, prepares students for the International Baccalaureate (accreditation IB World School).
