The balcony glazing systems on condos are typically installed between the top of the rail and the ceiling of the balcony, creating a protected non-thermal space that does not add to the gross floor area or floor space ratio (GFA/FSR). Additionally, because the glass panes are frameless, they do not affect the appearance of the building or alter the overall design. This innovative product has transformed the building industry in Finland and elsewhere in Europe, where Lumon has been manufacturing and installing these systems for over 35 years.
