Los Angeles Apparel is a manufacturer, distributor and retailer of made in the USA basic apparel. Our specialties include T-shirts, sweatshirts, cotton bodysuits and swimwear.Based in South Central, Los Angeles Apparel employs approximately 350 people, most of whom have worked with Charney for over a decade. The company is a vertically integrated manufacturer, with knitting and dyeing all in Los Angeles. We keep approximately $4 million of raw materials in stock to facilitate our quick-response manufacturing system.The company was founded by Dov Charney, who is considered an apparel industry leader, and has manufactured and sold over $10 billion of clothing in the United States and worldwide.Los Angeles Apparel is committed to making our goods in-house, and we do not outsource or subcontract cutting and sewing. We house state-of-the-art pattern making, marking, grading and cutting facilities under one roof and our product developers, creatives, manufacturing engineers, floor managers and workers collaborate to help ensure that we have an efficient and positive working environment.Our current capacity is 140,000 units per week and by mid-2018 we hope to double that with a staff of over 1,000.
