Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation has a long and proud history of supporting the community through changing times. Today we are a contemporary organisation, inspiring philanthropy in Melbourne to achieve positive social change. We aim to increase life opportunities and promote social inclusion through a combination of grants, research, partnerships, communications and investment tools to grow and build strong communities. Our Impact Areas include Education & Employment, Homelessness & Affordable Housing, Healthy & Cohesive Communities and Sustainable Melbourne. Our Strategic Initiatives include the Youth Initiative focused on education, employment and Youth in Philanthropy; Affordable Housing; Food Security; and Older Women Ageing in Poverty. We grow philanthropy through Gifts in Wills, Charitable Fund Accounts, Giving Circles and social impact campaigns.
