Kama Jewellery was established in 1996, then a unit manufacturing 1000-1500 pieces of diamond jewellery per month. Growing steadily, Kama Jewellery earned itself a name in the industry, with its finely-crafted diamond jewellery. In the year 2007, the company entered into a joint venture with Leo Schachter diamonds, a DTC sight holder and a name known worldwide for its fine diamonds. The company was then called Kama Schachter. Today, Kama Schachter ranks among the top 10 manufacturers of diamond jewellery in Asia, with offices in India, USA, Germany, Japan, China and Hong Kong and a distribution network spanning major markets, namely, India, USA, Europe, Russia, Japan, Middle East and Australia. This has helped Kama Schachter establish itself in the international markets and be associated with premium jewellery retailers across the globe. Armed with the experience and resources, the retail venture, KAMA Jewellery was next on the cards. The KAMA Jewellery store, launched in early 2012, presents a one-of-a-kind Love Destination, offering the best in global trends and in-store experience, when it comes to diamond jewellery. Over the years Kama Schachter has been received accolades for excellence in manufacturing and exporting diamond jewellery. The most prestigious ones are the award for the ‘Largest Exporter outside Seepz’ for 4 consecutive years, the ‘Udyog Ratna’ awards, and the ‘Emerging SME’ award.
