Jarvis Christian College

Jarvis Christian College is a historically Black liberal arts, baccalaureate, degree-granting institution affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Building on a distinguished history of service to underprivileged students, Jarvis Christian College continues to prepare students for careers in teaching, ministry, government service, science, and business, as well as pursuit of graduate studies. The programs of this historically black college, serving an increasingly diverse population of students, focus on holistic personal development in a Christian environment. The mission of the college is to prepare students intellectually, socially, spiritually, and personally to pursue professional and graduate studies and productive careers, and to function effectively in a global and technological society.
