Irish Distillers is the producer of some of the world’s most well-known and successful Irish whiskeys and one of Ireland’s leading supplier of spirits and wines. Led by Jameson, our brands are driving the global renaissance of Irish whiskey and are exported to over 130 markets around the world. As of 2019 Jameson was the bestselling Irish whiskey in the world, experiencing 30 years of consecutive growth and achieving sales of 8 million cases, loved across the US and Europe and breaking new ground in Africa, Asia and Latin America.Formed in 1966, Irish Distillers was born when a merger took place between John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and Cork Distilleries Company. In 1988, Irish Distillers joined Pernod Ricard, gaining access to unprecedented levels of investment and an extensive global distribution network. Our portfolio of whiskeys is produced at Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork, where we push the boundaries of Irish whiskey production. Whether igniting passion for Irish whiskey with iconic brands such as Redbreast Single Pot Still and Powers, or defining the pinnacle if Irish whiskey with our Midleton Very Rare expressions, innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Today, we employ 600 people across our operations in Cork, Dublin and Belfast.
