INEOS Grangemouth

Located at Grangemouth, some 40km west of Edinburgh, one of INEOS’ largest manufacturing sites directly employs 1300 highly skilled people. The 1700 acre site is home to Scotland’s only crude oil refinery (producing the bulk of fuels used in northern Britain) as well as world-scale petrochemical plants. The refining and petrochemical complex comprises two businesses: Petroineos (a refining joint venture company between INEOS and PetroChina) and INEOS Olefins and Polymers UK .The heavily integrated plants together with associated infrastructure and services provide unrivalled opportunities in the UK for employees to gain experience and develop their careers across many and varied engineering disciplines. The O&P UK chemicals business has recently undergone a radical transformation with significant investment of c£500m driven by the ethane supply project. This investment is heralding a new era in petrochemical manufacture at Grangemouth.
