Our Purpose To meet the growing needs of our community by providing a client-centered, holistic health approach to increase our clients'​ nutritional, mental and financial well-being. Our Impact Through its own work, and in partnership and collaboration with other organizations, Horizons seeks to: * Reduce food insecurity for area families * Make mental healthcare more accessible to community residents * Decrease barriers to employment * Improve financial stability of residents Our Mission Instill hope, change lives, brighten futures by providing life changing services to under served populations. Our Values Teamwork, Hard Work, Discipline, Integrity, Knowledge & Vision Horizons, A Family Service Alliance, with its headquarters at 819 5th Street SE in Cedar Rapids, provides a variety of human services across East-Central Iowa including Consumer Credit Counseling Services, Mental Health Counseling, Family Outreach Programs, Meals on Wheels meals for senior and disabled individuals and Transportation Services. The Agency employs over 90 staff.. Hundreds of dedicated volunteers share their time and talents enabling us to serve many more people in Iowa communities.
