Hi-Rel Laboratories specializes in testing services for electronic components and assemblies primarily used in the aeronautics industry. Founded in 1968, we are a leading testing house in the following four broad areas: Destructive Physical Analysis, where we exhaustively examine samples of electronic components from production lots to certify their construction and workmanship meet the specified requirements. Upgrade Services, where we screen, test, and qualify flight components using Real Time Radiography, Particle Impact Noise Detection (PIND), and Hermeticity Testing, among others. Materials Analysis, where a variety of analytical tools and techniques are employed to characterize the materials used in the production of microelectronic components, assembly processes, and end use environments. Failure Analysis, where we analyze components that have failed during development, production, or in the field to drive root cause and subsequent prevention.
