Here to Serve identifies and mobilizes people, charities, businesses and organizations to carry each other’s burdens during times of crisis, insuring guidance and assistance does not have to be sought after, but is offered freely by people and organizations that collaborate to compassionately respond to those navigating life-threatening health crises. We seek to demystify the plethora of service organizations and to make them easily accessible, thereby easing the journey of those in medical crisis. Here to Serve is a health and human services organization providing non-medical support services to patients and their caregivers who are navigating unexpected, life-and-death health crises. We are a 501 (c) (3) charity that collaborates and cooperates with the community including individuals, businesses, and other nonprofit organizations to reduce the suffering and emotional stress of individuals, families and caregivers during life-threatening health crises. Here to Serve combines the services of other charities, corporations, and professional service organizations and mobilizes a network of friends, neighbors and loved ones to provide targeted non-medical assistance to families in medical crisis. We identify resources to help with insurance and legal issues, financial, emotional and mental health support, and navigate other NPO services, as well as provide assistance with child care, meals, household chores, transportation, pet care, and general logistics.
