Information
In 1918, the Frango mint chocolate truffle was born from the imagination of candy-maker Ray C. Alden; inspired by the frozen confection they served at Frederick & Nelson’s Tea Room in Seattle. Made of fine cocoa beans and triple-distilled Oregon peppermint oil, the premium chocolate became a part of countless occasions—from the everyday to the extraordinary. When Chicago’s own Marshall Field purchased the department store in 1929, the chocolatiers traveled to the Midwest to create a similar recipe that would be made in the iconic candy kitchen on the 13th floor of Marshall Field’s. After nearly a century, Frango chocolates continue to capture hearts from the Emerald City to the Windy City and beyond. We are still crafting our famous truffles and new flavors in our kitchens with the same passion, tradition, and rich heritage of Frango. Recently acquired by Garrett Brands LLC (owner of Garrett Popcorn Shops), we are expanding the company and are looking to build our team. We are committed to providing a great place for our employees to learn and grow throughout their careers. We invite you to become the next valued member of our team. For more information, visit us at Frango.com.
