FIMOR is part of a French family group, created in Paris in 1977. The company moved to Le Mans in 1998 in order to facilitate the growing polyurethane production. FIMOR has 2 departments specialized in the transformation of polyurethane: FIMOR-POLYURETHANE and FIMOR-SERIGRAPHY, and a subsidiary specialized in high-end human-machine interfaces and electronic components: FIMOR-ELECTRONICS. In 4 decades, the company has developed the world's best-known and best-selling brand of screen-printing squeegees, “serilor® distributed through a network of 200 distributors in more than 80 countries. FIMOR has extended its competitive polyurethane manufacturing expertise and has established a position in a variety of other markets like floor care equipment (squeegee blades), rail maintenance (USP, wear resistant and antivibration parts, wheel chocks, ballast chute liners etc…), Semi Finished products (sheets, blades); Industrial protection parts), and custom molded parts for the agricultural industry).There are endless other potential market applications for polyurethane. FIMOR is also active in the sectors of sporting goods, construction, surface and underground mining, material handling together with many other applications were extended resistance to wear and abrasion is called for. All these markets have been regrouped under the “FIMOR POLYURETHANE” market division.Significant investments have been made to develop new products and ensure a long-term growth on diversified industrial markets.
