EQ New York started a decade ago in Saint Louis, MO in the marketing and sales industry. Our experience working with clients and customers face to face gave us the experience, but not the fulfillment we desired. Our company grew to over 13 locations and 150 employees, however we were searching for ways we could contribute and give back to society. Our company was always heavily involved in volunteering at local events, food drives, and schools. We just wanted to do more; that is how EQ New York was born. Now, in addition to representing some of the largest companies in telecommunications, office supplies, energy, wireless telephones, merchant services, and retail, EQ New York has now partnered with one of the largest fundraising companies in the world. Now, we use our experience of working with the public in a business arena to raise money and awareness for some of the largest charities in the world. “The one on one personal message is critical,” says Sara Weisberg, EQ New York Manager. “It is human nature to care more about what is going on in your community or your home country. Television, radio, direct mail, and telemarketing cannot give people that personal message. They are very effective at reaching large groups and sending one message; however, we find that the personal face to face marketing approach is successful at bringing in lifelong customers or donors.”
