The dream behind EMG – Educations Media Group began in 2001, in a living room in Stockholm, Sweden. Three students searching for education programs realized that there were no suitable services for finding educations online. They decided to launch the first comprehensive online marketing platform for educations in Scandinavia. EMG has rapidly expanded into a number of different markets culminating in the global site www.educations.com, which connects schools and students from around the world. Today, EMG is the market leader of education marketing in Northern Europe. The group currently has local business in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, Russia, France and globally via the site educations.com. The main office can be found at Blasieholmen in central Stockholm, far from the living room where it all began. Local offices are now also in Helsinki, Oslo, Copenhagen and Mannheim. International touch is everywhere; half of all employees on the EMG come from a country other than Sweden. The group employs approximately 120 coworkers and is partly owned by Novax, the investment company of Axel Johnson. EMG's vision is to help everyone in the world find their future education and the right training for their requirements. The group drives some of the most visited educational search engines internationally, attracting over 2 million visitors per month.
