Doncaster Racecourse is one of the country’s premier horse racing venues and home to some of the most prestigious events in the calendar. We are proud to possess a rich history within the grounds of Town Moor, with two of the World’s oldest horse races – the Doncaster Cup and the William Hill St Leger Stakes – taking place during our flagship William Hill St Leger Festival. Located in the heart of the UK, Doncaster Racecourse is ideally located for you to enjoy a hospitality experience to remember. Showcasing stunning scenery against a spacious and ultra-modern Grandstand, we offer surroundings to suit an event of any occasion. Running from November to March, the National Hunt season here at Doncaster showcases some quality jump racing. Highlights include the Sky Bet Chase in January and the William Hill Grimthorpe Chase in March, plus some great meetings over the festive period. The British Flat racing season both starts and ends here at Doncaster. The Betway Lincoln kicks off proceedings in April and there’s thrilling racing action and non-stop entertainment right the way through until close of play on November Handicap Day. Highlights along the way include live music concerts, family fun days and of course, our flagship race meeting, the St Leger Festival. Across most Saturday meetings throughout the year we have fantastic live entertainment after racing, and you’ll love our outdoor live concerts. This year we were thrilled to introduce Happy Mondays, Brian Wilson and Chase and Status to our outdoor stages. Finally, our showpiece event, the William Hill St Leger Festival, takes place in September, where you can enjoy a unique blend of history, quality racing and a spectacular programme of live entertainment during the four days.
