Digital Dynamics, Inc. (DDI) designs and builds custom Input/Output (I/O) controllers for embedded applications in complex equipment. We are an ISO 9001 certified company, with 40 years of design and manufacturing experience staffed to handle all aspects of electrical, mechanical and software design and manufacturing. All of our products are designed and built at our facilities in Scotts Valley, California and shipped worldwide. We are structured as an end-to-end manufacturing organization with complete in-house planning, sourcing, direct purchasing of all components and final assembly. All of our products are 100% tested before shipment.Customers refer to us as "the one supplier we don't have to worry about".DDI's new generation of I/O controllers, the SuperIOr® Controller System, is designed for applications that require high speed distributed I/O and can simultaneously manage over 1000 inputs and 1000 outputs with sub-millisecond response times. Each system is composed of a Control Module (CM) connected to a network of as many as 16, Remote Interface Modules (RIMs) which can be distributed throughout a tool. RIMs are extremely fast I/O subsystems that can be configured with multiple plug-in I/O cards specifically designed for machine control applications. The cards support high-resolution analog and fast digital I/O as well as precision temperature measurement and serial bus communications to smart devices. Dual I/P processors are used to configure hardware safety interlocks independent of CPU processing. Any I/O point can be interlocked with multiple others regardless of the module they are on and all Interlocks can be readily re-configured.
