Meyer’s home, that he invented the first air deflector to help prevent factory compressors from freezing up. It didn’t take long for this new invention to begin revolutionizing personal home comfort as well. A few years later, a clever Deflecto employee turned a magnetic air deflector upside down and placed it on a metal filing cabinet as a way to organize invoices.
