Datalog Technology was purchased in May 2016 by Cordax Evaluation Technologies. Datalog Technology remains a shareholding partner in that venture. Datalog provides innovative formation evaluation services to the petroleum industry. Services include Logging While Tripping (LWT), and Oil Sands Core Hole Open Hole Wireline Logging. Datalog's Logging While Tripping (LWT) is a patented formation evaluation technique in which quality open hole logs are acquired in a method that is more cost effective, uses less rig time, and has fewer inherent risks than wireline, drill pipe conveyed, shuttle, or logging-while-drilling methods. Datalog's Oil Sands Core Hole Open Hole Wireline Logging provides purpose built units and logging tools for oil sands mining and SAGD core hole operations.
