Founded in 1994, Dagong is one of the largest Credit Rating Agencies(CRA) in China. It is the first global credit rating agency with Chinese origin. It maintains the sovereign ratings of 100 countries and regions, and provides the largest coverage of solicited ratings of international private sector issuers among all Chinese CRAs. Dagong and its subsidiaries are licensed and authorised by regulators in China, Hong Kong and the European Union. Dagong Europe Credit Rating Srl is registered CRA in EU. It operates through 2 offices in Milan and Frankfurt. It is an authorised CRA by ESMA, and recognised by the Joint Committee of the three European Supervisory Authorities as External Credit Assessment Institutions (ECAI). Dagong is the only Asian CRA with established operations in Europe, and has rated over 27 billion bond financing raised since 2014. Dagong Global Credit Rating (Hong Kong) Co., Limited is a registered Credit Rating Agency in Hong Kong. It is granted a Type 10 License (Providing Credit Rating Services) by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong.
