CPEC is a publically traded company established in 1942 and listed on the premier Bombay Stock Exchange since 1979. For over 30 years, CPEC was a prominent manufacturer and supplier of gear boxes, a business it concluded in 2010. It has since been an increasingly active investor and developer within the growing Asian solar energy sector. Given the region's rapid infrastructure growth, its deficient energy sector, and the central & state governments’ initiatives and visions to tackle its energy deficiency, the renewable power sector is an opportunity CPEC is fully committed to.
