Concern for Independent Living, a CARF-accredited agency, has successfully developed and operated a wide array of housing opportunities since 1984. Originally founded on Long Island in 1972, Concern’s housing now extends throughout Suffolk and Nassau Counties and into Brooklyn and the Bronx. Concern’s mission is to provide housing that enriches people’s lives and strengthens communities.Concern for Independent Living, Inc., is a non-profit agency committed to helping individuals and families to live in the community with dignity and enhanced opportunities through the provision of housing and support services. We are one of the largest housing agencies of this kind in New York State. Concern offers a variety of housing options with individualized support services designed to support personal growth and independence.
