The Colorado Assisted Living Association (CALA), was formed in 1982 as a vision of two administrators of Assisted Living Residences Since then, CALA has made its mark on the industry and is the only Colorado non-profit association dedicated solely to assisted living. During this time we have developed mutually beneficial relationships between our Community and Associate Members. The NEW CALA is a strong, unified, professional organization exclusively dedicated to professionally operated assisted living communities in Colorado. We are engaged with our members! We are working extremely hard in legislative and regulatory issues. We have our own lobbyist working with us to help with our state wide grass roots efforts.
