Câmara De Comercialização De Energia Elétrica - CCEE (Chamber Of Electric Energy Commercialization)

CCEE is the operator of brazilian electric energy market. Its mission is to promote the electricity commercialization activities in Brazil, including ensuring the smooth market functioning and fostering discussions about the evolution of the power sector market. Founded in 2004, CCEE is a nonprofit civil association, maintained by companies that buy and sell power in Brazil. Thus, the role of CCEE is to strengthen the trading environment through rules and mechanisms that promote solid and fair business relationships for all segments (generation, distribution, trading and consumption). Working together with other institutions that make up the governance of the sector, CCEE works for the Brazilian society, seeking a trading model that encourages the economy development.
