Buckinghamshire PCT

Buckinghamshire Primary Care Trust (PCT), established on 1st October 2006, incorporated three predecessor PCTs (Aylesbury, Chiltern & South Bucks and Wycombe). It is responsible for engaging with its local population to improve health and well-being; commissioning a comprehensive and equitable range of high quality, responsive and efficient services, within allocated resources; and directly providing high quality responsive and efficient services where this gives best value. The PCT has a vision to improve the health and well being of our population. It has proposed five strategic objectives for the next three to five years which will ensure that appropriate services will be provided in the right setting to meet the needs of patients.
