Blair Community Schools

The school district of Blair encompasses over 142 square miles and serves the Northeastern portion of Washington County, including the city of Blair. Current student enrollment for grades PK-12 exceeds 2,420 students. Over 175 certified staff members and 122 support staff are employed to ensure the best education possible for our youth. Blair is one of the 25 largest school districts in the State of Nebraska and maintains the highest accreditation from the Nebraska State Department of Education, as well as membership in the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. The patrons of the Blair Community School District have made a commitment to quality education and this is reflected by the excellent facilities and extensive programs available to our students. This commitment to excellence is reflected in the fact that Blair High School, opened to students in 1970, received the prestigious Secondary School Recognition Award for Excellence from the U.S. Department of Education in 1989.
