Biosphere Corporation

Biosphere Corporation is the largest manufacturer and distributor of household and hygiene products in Ukraine and one of the largest in Eastern Europe. In less than 23 years the company led by the Dnipro-born Andriy Zdesenko has evolved from a local startup to an international giant with net sales at around USD 180 m (2018), delivering its goods into thousands of households in more than 20 countries (CIS, Baltic states, Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Brazil, Ghana, etc.), featuring an impressive product portfolio of about 2000 items. Dozens of own and exclusively distributed brands (Freken BOK, Smile, Novita, Eventa, Selpak to name a few) make up for 1 million products purchased daily. Today Biosphere Corporation has 5 production facilities in 3 countries, employs 3000 people, and strives to be the trendsetter in Ukraine and beyond. The company’s mission is manufacturing state-of-the-art, top-quality household and hygiene goods that are really helpful, inspire emotions and create value. Founder and President of the Biosphere Corporation since 1997 is Andriy Zdesenko (49 years old, resident of Ukraine). Minor co-owners of the corporation are Iryna Nesterenko and Vladyslav Guristrimba. Mr. Zdesenko is a member of the Board of Directors at the Ukrainian Entrepreneurs Union (“SUP”) that initiates actions aimed at developing entrepreneurship and improving business climate in Ukraine. Mr. Zdesenko is also the owner of Charisma Fashion Group, a chain of premium boutiques in the Ukrainian fashion retail market distributing over 60 world’s well-known brands since 2008. Since 2012 Mr. Zdesenko is also a co-owner of Vapiano restaurants in Ukraine by a franchise agreement.
