Set in a beautiful location in the heart of rural Kent, accessible by road or rail, our location, our staff and our professional standards combine to make us 'The Hospital with space and time to care' - something the patients we treat, and the GPs who send them here recognise and value. A range of clinical services are delivered in a way that is tailored to meet individual needs during your time at Benenden Hospital. There are 13 modern single beds, in en suite rooms, to complement the 6 bed single sex bays, many of which look out onto delightful countryside views. You will find all our staff are caring, considerate and dedicated to doing all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everyone here is fully committed to excellence in healthcare and we have a continuous programme of improvement to maintain our extremely high standards. Benenden Hospital was founded in 1907 and is an independent trust hospital with charitable status. (Registered charity number 1065995) Our patients used to be exclusively Benenden Health members who form the majority of cases, but now we warmly welcome those who wish to fund their own treatment (directly or through insurance) as well as people coming to us as an NHS patient through the NHS E-Referral scheme.
