Since 1999, BeckITSystems has supported organizations small and medium-sized. During that time, we have experienced an increasing rate of technology advance. Technology has traditionally been an assortment of desktops, laptops, servers, accounting systems, and an assortment of software advertised to “increase productivity” but the gains were barely noticeable. Today almost all organizations have some technology, and most of that technology is implemented in an ad hoc fashion without short-term or long-term planning to create technology systems that enable and support the mission and goals of the organization.
