Aviate Global is an institutional equity broker offering compelling stock ideas, broking and sales-trading, trading and execution services in 34 markets on behalf of more than 250 institutional investors in 20 countries. Established in 2007, with offices in London, New York, Hong & Sydney, we work with some of the world’s largest hedge-funds, asset managers and institutional long-only investors. Aviate Global is in the ideas business; we specialise in high-quality, conviction ideas and as we are from buy-side backgrounds, we understand what buy-side investors need when they put capital to work in the markets. We are completely independent. We work on behalf of our clients only, feedback from them points to an appreciation of the quality and intellectual rigour of our work. We have a simple, straight-forward approach with frequent non-consensual views. Our research staff are based in all offices – they cover good ideas, not sectors or companies – and we make every effort to think about the world as an investor does. We employ a unified global process under which we: - identify investible ideas with alpha-generating potential for institutional investors, - identify what is happening at the macro-level, why it is happening and what the impact will be, - identify the direction of price action and identify what action investors should take, - do the difficult things very well; we care about the outcome of every trade we conduct - we have access to substantial dealing & execution liquidity via dark & lit venues; we access many more venues than some of the largest banks which is of great benefit to our clients,) we offer care & attention through high-touch sales trading, and - stay engaged & monitor our research recommendations - asking 'now what?' constantly. - the stock market is an unforgiving environment : when we get things right, our clients know and acknowledge it. When we get things wrong, we put our hands up and say 'sorry.'
