Association For Consultancy And Engineering (ACE)

The Association for Consultancy and Engineering represents(ACE) around 600 member companies, large and small, at the heart of delivering, maintaining and upgrading the UK’s buildings, structures and infrastructure, including critical sectors such as water, rail, housing and energy. ACE operates throughout UK in various devolved regions like Cymru Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, London & South East, Northern, North-West and Midlands. There are about five sector interest groups, namely, Energy, Rail, Roads, Sustainability and Water that represent members from all the above regions. ACE events and activities are open to consultants and engineers at all levels, across many disciplines within all the UK's devolved nations and regions and internationally too. They open up many opportunities for those members without their own training facilities to participate. ACE Progress Network community is an initiative for young professional consultants and engineers that provides a great networking opportunity with peers and to develop business skills. Technician Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC) is a platform supported by ACE to bring together engineering consultancy firms to enable them to meet their business needs through the recruitment and training of technician apprentices. This was developed to give aspiring engineers a professional route and also to encourage young talent take up engineering. ACE’s members contribute around £10billion to the UK economy and are some of the world’s leading consultancy and engineering businesses, renowned for the quality and excellence of their work around the globe, as well as the crucial delivery of expertise and developments at home.
