At Aero Instruments & Avionics, Inc. our primary business is testing, repair and overhaul of avionics components used in commercial aircraft including regional aircraft. The organization includes an engineering department which maintains an automatic test equipment (ATE) product line purchased from Lockheed Martin 1996. The automatic test equipment is supported by the engineering department and includes new hardware and software updates and installations but does not include new builds of the ATE. Aero also manufacturers and services portable data loaders and shop data loaders used to upload avionic line replaceable units with aircraft specific software.
