Western Bowling Proprietors Insurance (WBPI)

WBPI has dedicated itself exclusively to insuring bowling and family entertainment centers since 1989 and counts itself blessed to be exclusively endorsed by state proprietors associations in California, Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio. It’s so much more than insurance; it’s a partnership. We’ve seen everything that can possible go wrong inside a bowling center for over 30 years. It’s our job to keep you out of trouble so that you can focus on your job of facilitating the creation of life long memories within your community. This why we played a prominent role in educating and advocating for proprietors during the Pandemic. Via a series of personal connections, we had direct access to the Senate Small Business Committee and participated in reviewing and commenting on the PPP and Restaurant Revitalization Programs. This access enabled us to educate and prepare our customers maximize and properly time the use of these programs. As a result, most of our customers received a full 6 months to use PPP funds and received 100% forgiveness. Many of our customers also received RRF funds. Beyond this advocacy, however, WBPI provides its customers with hands on training and professionally produced video content which proprietors can integrate into their operations. Training covers how to handle injury claims, shootings, fights, and other insurance related risk management topics. WBPI is unique in that we are a fully functional MGA using our own agents (including at least one professional bowler and two military veterans) to form close relationships with proprietors. These relationships are key to our long term success and stability and provide unrivaled ability to coach, advise, and help keep Murphy Law’s in jail! As our CEO is fond of saying, we “give every kind of advice there is: leadership advice, marketing advice, business advice, hiring advice…even marriage advice though we try to stay out of that!”
