WASR 97.1 FM 1420 AM

WASR is a veteran owned, and community focused radio station. Since we took over ownership of the the station we have updated the broadcast format based off of community feedback. We added an FM translator, and it lets us simulcast our content on AM 1420 and now FM 97.1. We have updated our website to include internet streaming which some of our community snowbirds enjoy. A community calendar section has been added, allowing non-profits and other community organizations to add, and edit upcoming local events, that will be displayed on our website, and also read over the air. We are always interested in local involvement. If you haven't visited the station in awhile, I invite you to stop in. The studios have been updated with new equipment, and local esthetics.
