Villanova Wildcat Fund

The Villanova Wildcat Fund, formerly known as the Equity Society, is a student managed investment society, managing a long-only equity portfolio with over $1.7m of assets under management that seeks to earn risk adjusted excess returns above benchmark indexes. The Wildcat Fund uses top down fundamental analysis, social responsibility screening, and technical indicators to select securities for investment in the fund. A priority of the Wildcat Fund, through the Villanova Investment Academy (VIA), is to prepare its students for successful careers in finance and investment related fields. The leadership of the Wildcat fund is responsible for promoting the professional development of VIA members by sponsoring learning seminars, facilitating networking opportunities, and providing mentorship programs.
