Unity Network

Using the principles of sustainability, grassroots activism, and collaboration, we support a framework for prioritizing new community projects and programs that help find solutions to the problems of the 21st century, and catalyze tangible social transformation and balance with our national world. The centerpiece of the Unity Network is an umbrella non-profit 501c3 tax-exempt charity called the CommUNITY Life NETWORK Incorporated.  Our broad purpose is to support, prioritize and unify a variety of projects that help solve problems of the 21st century through networking and innovation.  Our principles are rooted in sustainability, grass roots activism, and collaborative decision making. Since the 2008 collapse of the global economy, our current priorities include developing proposals for alternative economic systems based on natural ecology and sustainability in collaboration with a variety of movements and organizations including the Occupy Movement in 2011, Inspired Legacies, and the EDGE Alliance. Our priorities can change at anytime through our direct democracy CommUNITY Elections which you can participate in. Other community initiatives include: Digital Storytellers, which teaches slam poetry and digital editing skills to at risk youth in Oakland; The Hemp Education Project, which educates the public on the transformative economic outcomes of using industrial hemp; and Acelajob, which helps people get jobs.  Governance projects include: the Governance Evolution Project to bring integrity to government systems and encourage normal people to run for office; and Law By People, which is an iPhone app for a Common English Version of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United State.  If you have an idea, or a project, we can help you get it started.
