TravelTriangle was launched in 2011 with a simple observation that we are living in a New World. Travellers have evolved and expect holiday solutions which solve the complexities of planning. Co-founded by a 3-member team comprising IIT grads – Sankalp Agarwal (IIT Kharagpur), Sanchit Garg (IIT Bombay) and Prabhat Gupta (IIT Guwahati), TravelTriangle is a new age online brand, which specializes in offering the best customized holiday package to its users. What makes TravelTriangle stand out in the crowd is that it is the only platform which solves the complexity, by offering the travellers multiple quotes from verified and reviewed Travel Agents, thus, helping them decide on price. Further, it customizes the holiday and then manage fulfillment by offering money safe guarantee. The 65+ destinations being currently served cover both domestic and outbound markets. So far, the company has served 10 lakhs+ travelers and garnered 95% positive reviews with the help of a strong network of 650+ travel agents. In July 2014, TravelTriangle raised Pre-Series A investment of $1.7 million from SAIF Partners. In April 2015, Silicon Valley venture fund Bessemer Venture Partners led an $8-million Series A round and very recently in February 2017, it raised $10 million in a Series B round of funding led by RB Investments, a Singapore-based venture capital firm. Existing investors SAIF Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners also participated in the round.
