Merlin was formed in 2011 by five passionate and experienced motorcycle riders. From a small barn conversion in the hear of Birmingham, UK, Merlin launched its first collection a year later. From this small collection, Merlin is now one of the fastest growing motorcycle brands. recognised for style, technical innovation and quality. Merlin has gone from barn conversion to global brand in less than 10 years, with products now available in over 20 markets. We're proud to work with some of the world's leading material, armour and component providers to meet the high-quality our customers have come to expect. Such materials include: Halley Stevensons® waxed cotton, Cordura®, Outlast®, D3O® armour, Marton Mills® tartan, DuPont™ Kevlar®, YKK® zips, Sympatex® membranes, SuperFabric®, Hipora® and Reissa® waterproofing. Merlin products were first built on what the founders knew riders wanted but could not find; motorcycle clothing that redefined expectation, showcased personality and complement the bike without compromising on safety or performance. Our Explorer category focuses on versatility, function and performance that can tackle both on and off-road scenarios. This collection also sees the introduction of sustainable fabrics, using Halley Stevensons® 100% organic ripstop cotton in a selection of the range. Born from a celebration of the cafe culture, the Heritage collection combines timeless styling with thoroughly modern protection, using classic soft leathers and waxed cottons. At Merlin, we believe every rider should have access to protective clothing that performs as well as it looks. The desire for protective apparel which easily transitions between on and off bike is growing, which is where our Leisure Moto collection steps in. By taking high-street styling and adding in motorcycle-based protection, we were able to craft a complete collection to help riders stand out from the crowd.
