The Fourth Floor

The Fourth Floor is on a mission to get more women onto boards and cap tables. One of the reasons women have difficulty landing corporate board seats is because they are turned down for lack of experience. We hack the system and provide a place for women to initiate and advance for-profit board careers, earn equity, and invest by tapping into the underleveraged value of women entrepreneurs and by creating/aggregating for-profit board opportunities through our Pay It Forward Initiative. We are closing the gender wealth and funding gap via a networked marketplace to exchange board and investment related opportunities for founders, board candidates and women-led funds. The Pay It Forward Initiative provides all companies with an easy way to diversify boards and executive teams, empower women executives to initiate or advance for-profit board careers and save money on recruiting costs. Each Pay It Forward Partner directly advances at least 3 for-profit board careers and gets us closer to our goal to advance 75,000 board careers for women by 2025.
